1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using carforrentdubai.ae (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Site. Additional or different terms may apply to specific features and will be presented to you at the relevant point.

2. About Car For Rent Dubai

Car For Rent Dubai is an independent car rental aggregator focused on the United Arab Emirates. We display search results and pricing from licensed local UAE rental suppliers via the Localrent White Label platform. We are an affiliate. We are not the rental company.

The rental contract for any vehicle you book is concluded directly between you and the local supplier you select. The supplier — not Car For Rent Dubai — is responsible for vehicle delivery, condition, insurance, support, refunds, and all other aspects of the rental service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. To rent a vehicle in the UAE, you must additionally meet the supplier's age, licence, and document requirements (typically minimum age 21–25, valid driving licence, passport, etc., depending on the vehicle category).

4. The booking process

When you submit a booking through the search widget on the Site, your data is transmitted to Localrent and to the local UAE supplier you select. The booking is confirmed by the supplier (typically within minutes). You will receive booking confirmation via email containing the supplier's contact details, pickup instructions, and rental conditions.

Payment terms (deposit, full prepayment, pay-on-arrival), cancellation conditions, fuel policy, mileage limits, insurance, and all other rental conditions are set by the supplier and shown in the booking flow before you confirm.

By submitting a booking, you accept the supplier's rental terms as displayed at the time of booking.

5. Pricing and currency

Prices shown on the Site are supplied by Localrent in real time and are typically displayed in US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), or UAE Dirhams (AED), depending on user settings and supplier preference. Final amounts charged at the rental counter or to your card may differ slightly due to currency conversion, additional services you accept on-site, fuel level, tolls, traffic fines, or damage. Such differences are settled directly between you and the supplier.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of any specific price displayed on the Site at any given moment. Prices change frequently based on supplier inventory and demand.

6. Editorial content

Articles and informational pages on the Site (driving rules, document requirements, area guides, FAQs, etc.) are provided for general information only and reflect our understanding at the time of writing. UAE laws, regulations, and supplier policies change. We make reasonable efforts to keep content current but do not guarantee that all information is accurate, complete, or up to date at the moment you read it.

Always confirm critical details — driving licence requirements, age limits, deposit amounts, fines — directly with the rental supplier and with official UAE government sources before relying on them.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, graphics, layouts, logos, images, page templates — except where otherwise indicated, is the property of Car For Rent Dubai or its licensors and is protected by international copyright laws. You may view, download, and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, redistribute, modify, or scrape Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• use the Site in any way that violates UAE law or any applicable international law;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its systems, or related networks;
• use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Site, except for legitimate search engine indexing;
• submit false, misleading, or fraudulent booking information;
• use the Site to send spam or unsolicited communications;
• interfere with the proper functioning of the Site or other users' use of it.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Car For Rent Dubai disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Car For Rent Dubai is not liable for:

• the acts, omissions, performance, or non-performance of any rental supplier;
• vehicle condition, accidents, theft, damage, fines, tolls, or traffic violations;
• cancellations, delays, or no-shows by the supplier or by you;
• disputes between you and the supplier;
• any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or any rental booked through it.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site is limited to the affiliate commission (if any) we received from the relevant booking, which in most cases is a small amount.

11. Third-party links

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services (Localrent, official UAE government portals, payment systems, etc.). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Car For Rent Dubai, its operators, and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page and may also be highlighted elsewhere on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable international law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties shall, where possible, be resolved through online dispute resolution. Disputes between you and a rental supplier are governed by the supplier's own terms and the law of the United Arab Emirates.
