Car For Rent Dubai (carforrentdubai.ae) is an independent car rental aggregator focused on the United Arab Emirates. We display search results from licensed local rental suppliers via the Localrent White Label platform. We are an affiliate, not the rental company.

2. What information we collect

We collect two categories of information when you use this website:

2.1 Information you give us directly

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. If you submit a booking through the search widget, the booking form is processed by Localrent and the rental supplier you select — we do not store your booking data on our servers.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, we automatically receive standard web traffic data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent on each page, and approximate geographic location derived from IP. This data is used in aggregate to understand site usage and improve content.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use Yandex.Metrika to measure traffic and user behaviour on the site. Yandex.Metrika uses cookies to collect anonymised usage statistics. The data is processed by Yandex LLC according to its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Yandex.Metrika tracking at any time by installing the official browser opt-out add-on.

The Localrent search widget on our pages may also set cookies for booking session continuity. These are managed by Localrent under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Car For Rent Dubai, our users, or others.

6. Data retention

Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to Yandex.Metrika's standard retention periods. Server logs are typically retained for 30–90 days.
