Car For Rent Dubai uses a small number of cookies, all of which fall into the categories below.

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the Site to function. They include session cookies set by the Localrent booking widget so your search criteria persist as you move through the booking flow. Without these, the search and booking features cannot work.

2.2 Analytics cookies

We use Yandex.Metrika (counter ID 106287492) to measure how visitors use the Site — which pages are popular, how visitors arrive, how long they stay, and which links they click. The data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. We use this data to improve content and site structure.

2.3 Third-party cookies

The Localrent search widget loads from static.localrent.com and may set its own cookies for booking session continuity, language preference, and currency. These cookies are managed by Localrent under its own privacy and cookie policies.

We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tags, or similar tracking pixels on this Site.

3. Cookies we typically set

The exact list may evolve over time. As of the last update, the cookies most commonly set when you visit the Site include:

• _ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad, _ym_visorc — Yandex.Metrika analytics cookies. Lifetime: from session up to 1 year. Purpose: anonymised usage analytics.
• localrent_session, localrent_lang, localrent_currency — set by the Localrent booking widget. Lifetime: session to 30 days. Purpose: booking flow continuity, language/currency preference.

Names and details may differ slightly depending on the version of the embedded widget and analytics script.

Browsing in a private or incognito window prevents cookies from persisting after you close the window.

4.4 Do Not Track

Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals; we therefore do not currently change our behaviour based on DNT.
