About Car For Rent Dubai
Independent car rental aggregator focused on the United Arab Emirates — built by travellers who know the country, for travellers who want straight answers.
What we do
Car For Rent Dubai is an aggregator platform. We compare rates and conditions from licensed local UAE car rental suppliers and let you book in one place. We do not own a fleet, and we do not act as the rental company — the rental contract is concluded directly between you and the local supplier you select.
Our search covers all seven emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah, plus airport pickup at DXB, AUH, SHJ, RKT, and FJR.
Why we focus on local UAE suppliers
The big global brands — Hertz, Avis, Sixt, Europcar — are familiar names, but in the UAE they are typically 30–50% more expensive than equivalent local fleets running the same Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and Kia cars. Local suppliers also tend to be more flexible: more no-deposit rates, more debit-card-friendly options, more willingness to deliver to your hotel for free.
Our platform exists to make these local options visible alongside the chains, so travellers can make an informed choice instead of defaulting to whatever they recognise.
How we make money
We earn an affiliate commission from suppliers when you complete a booking through our site. This does not change the price you pay — supplier rates are the same whether you book direct or through us. We never receive payments to promote specific suppliers, and we don\'t rank suppliers in search results in exchange for fees.
Our editorial approach
Page content is written by our small editorial team based on direct experience driving and renting in the UAE, supplemented by official sources (UAE government, RTA, Sharjah Police, Abu Dhabi ITC, Localrent supplier data). We focus on practical questions: what does it actually cost, what documents do I need, what about tolls, what happens if something goes wrong.
We deliberately avoid naming individual suppliers in editorial copy — that decision belongs in the search step where you can see live prices, ratings, and reviews. See our editorial policy for the full details.
